Warakas Urban Village carried out COVID-19 vaccination for residents who live in Micro-Scale Public Activity Restrictions (Micro PPKM) area.
Micro PPKM area is located at RT 07/09 Gang VI Warakas
Vaccination was held at SMAN 18 Jakarta, Jl. Warkas I, Warakas, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. As many as 55 residents were vaccinated in this activity which conducted on Wednesday (6/23).
"Micro PPKM area is located at RT 07/09 Gang VI Warakas. Total 37 residents from 10 houses in the location have been exposed to COVID-19," said Makhrus Nugroho, Head of Warakas Urban Village, Thursday (6/24) morning.
126,047 South Jakartans Aged 18+ Have Been Vaccinated Against COVID-19According to him, COVID-19 vaccination was carried out to prevent healthy people from being exposed to COVID-19 and accelerate government's effort to achieve herd immunity.
"We don't want other residents to be exposed to COVID-19. Therefore, we hope vaccination can achieve herd immunity in the community," he mentioned.
